Hey – welcome to my new column. I’m Mr. Kook. Despite the name, it’s tongue in cheek – I’m not really a kook per se, but a reformed kook. One who is improving. I think once you can start turning your board, and respect the lineup, you’re no longer a kook. But anyway, the theme of this column is for beginner surfers, kooks or not!
