How much money does a professional surfer make? I guess it all depends on what name you’re signing on the back of your check. In a recent interview with Aaron Cormican when he’s asked about his contract (I can only assume they are referring to his Lost contract) surprisingly he answers, and $32,000 dollars a month is what he answers with. Being a joke of course he quickly assures the interviewing journalist it’s actually $3,200 a month. To surf and get barreled, and punt ridiculous airs. Can’t complain… Not to mention whatever various paychecks he has coming in from other sponsors, contest, and photo incentives.
