This past Spring Break, I flew over from the sleepy town of Wilmington, NC, all the way to my relatives in O.C. It was a really eventful week. I’m sure most of you live at or near O.C., but I’m writing this from an East Coast perspective.
The first two days there were nice waves, and I quickly took advantage of that by surfing at Huntington Beach. The vibe is tougher than us redneck vibes, but the farther away from the pier you get, the better the vibe is. Monday morning, was pretty good stomach to head-high surf. Clean and sunny… what more could you ask for? The water doesn’t taste as good though…
Also, there was a fire two houses down from where we were staying, I got to go to Knott’s Berry Farm and get my adrenaline fix on the Xcelerater and other rollercoasters, and right before we left, this guy was getting beat up across the street. What an exciting week! Plus, I got a severe cold, which sucked because my eye felt like it was going to pop out from sinus pressure.
I wish I could’ve stayed longer, but alas, Spring Break only lasts one week, and the dull doldrums of school await. Only one more term…

I think your severe cold may have been a typical case of a west coast poopwater sinus infection.
