So we got an advance copy of Glow, and yes I have a great job because I get to kick back and listen to some great albums. Donavon shows his range in this album from the “hawaiian pop” style title-track Glow complete with backup singers, to the pop-ish second track — which is actually our favorite — where he does a mini-duet with some chick with an amazing voice where they sort of pass the chorus back and forth and she belts “keeping me away from you…uh uh oh oh” which is pure magic and the best part of the album, hands down. Then as the album comes to a close he goes back to his roots hawaiian sound with more of an acoustic feel complete with ukuleles.
