Boogie! Board! For! Ten Bucks!
Reader Michael sent us a Craigslist ad from Wilmington, North Carolina - a boogie board for $10. Mike says: “Why bother???!?”. Exactamundo. Anybody who has sold a surfboard on Craigslist knows that it’s basically just a pain in the ass. Why?
“Sure, I’ll swing by at 10am to buy your dinged Merrick,” some kook replies to you ad…
…and then they don’t show up to pay, and you’re stuck waiting for an hour when you’d rather be out, I dunno…SURFING.
In this case, you’ll burn $10 in gas just trying to find this guy’s pad. This North Carolina sponger would be better off donating it to a thrift shop or just giving it away to his next door neighbor grom.
And to top it off, it’s an ugggly boogie board!
