Hot surfers have lonely hearts, too
I’ve said it a million times - surfers are hot. The combination of the surf, wax, sun and pumping adrenaline from riding the waves can create a strong attraction between the male and female surfers on the beach. But regardless of how intense this sexual energy is, many surfers still go home alone. I guess that’s what the founders of “Surfing Passions” were thinking when they decided to capitalize on the lonely hearts of our fellow surfers. Surfing Passions, which the founders caveat as still being in beta, is an online dating community only for surfers. And while they are still trying to build a critical mass and iron out some of the bugs in their site, it’s still worth checking it out for a good laugh. At the risk of adding insult to injury, I feel compelled to share some of the stupidest profile pictures I found.
After perusing through a few profiles, I started second-guessing my view of surfers - are they really as hot and cool as I thought they were? It’s like when I found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real.
