No B.S. Review
May Dayz was a pretty sick movie, directed by Tim Bonython, which focused on teams of pro surfers chasing a huge swell in Teahupoo back in May 2005. The movie features some of the best riders towing each other into huge slabs, and in one scene, you get to see how Reef Mcintosh it trying to tow in Raimana Von Bastolear into a wave and gets caught too deep and literally almost takes his head off (clip below). Reef bailed out the backside of the wave and let the jetski go, luckily it was all good and nobody got hurt.
The movie has a good soundtrack, but the director gives you good some point-of-view shots from atop the jet skis as each wave passes. These shots are without music and its gives you a good sense of how big the waves were that day, and you get to feel like what it would have been like to be sitting out there on a jet ski and watching all your boys towing in.
We have an extra review copy of the DVD and will give it away to whoever posts the best comment to this story, post away!

I got to give Reef props because he knew he wasn’t goin to make it. If kept ridding the jet skii Raimana would prolly be dead or with some searious injuries. But that is still pretty freak’in hilarious watch. i would be pissed if I was Raimana and i saw a Jet skii flying over my head.
