Anyone who has ever used a paint remover scraper thingy will know the feeling of scraping paint off a fence just right. The paint comes off like a hot knife through butter. Any surfer who has scraped wax from a surfboard with a credit card or a pickle knows how much elbow grease is required. (It's fun at first, then it becomes a pain in the ass.)

This is where the Wax Buddy, pictured here, rocks. Now, at first glance, a surfer might think: “Who cares, my old library card works just fine.” No. Not so. The Wax Buddy strips surfboard wax really, really easily – without damaging your board. 8 scccchhhhhhhicks up and down a 9'6″ longboard or a 5 foot potato chip and you've got a clean, fresh deck ready for a fresh coat of Sticky Bumps. Sweet!

The product was recently launched by the Endless Wave, a Rhode Island company that also makes the famous “Wave tables” – a surfboard coffee table. The product uses recycled plastic, which is a great call by the company. Ask for it at your local surfboard shot by name, or pick up a couple at endlesswave.net. This puppy will retail for less than $3, and it's worth it. Put it in your quiver of suncure, surfboard straps and wax combs.
