I’m a 16 year old girl that’s always love skateboarding/longboarding, but I actually came to have my first longboard this year (2012). I would use my friends’ boards and such. See, my folks are really uptight about girls and these sort of sports, so is society at times. I’m not a feminist, I believe in equal rights, but let’s face it: a lot of people think that guys do these sports better/girls can’t do them right. I’ve lived with this hovering over my head for-like-ever. I may just be a starter longboarder, but I have the same amount of what it takes to become awesome at this sport as any other guy does; just like any other GIRL does too! For the girls that fight for what they want and never let others push you down! we can be beautiful and be strong at the same time! Cheers!~ <3
