California (Central): PLEASURE POINT

The popular aquatic playground of East Side Santa Cruz, Pleasure Point is a beautiful area with great surf year round. With access at 34th St and a frequently crowded parking lot, Pleasure Point is a fun wave with enough variance in her personality to make almost any surfer happy. The inside can reform and line up nicely for the longboard crew while the top of the point can have some fun bowly sections that are better suited for shortboards on the better swells. Overall it’s a right-hander; however a punchy left can also form off the 1st peak.
