World’s Best Man Made Wave
Shizam! This is some pretty cool stuff, and of all the fake waves, standing waves, waves on cruiseships and other weird fake surfing stuff we’ve found here at DailyStoke.com, this man made wave is easily the best we’ve seen. The wave itself is in Tenerife and opened in October 2007. Judging from the video, they appear to be able to control whether the wave is breaking right or left. Damn cool. Check it out, and stay tuned for more on Siam Park’s man made wave. That said, Surfing Scotty also found this surfing wave pool footage back in the day which actually features surfers ripping it up. Pretty cool.
