Damien and CJ Hobgood Release the Only Fin You’ll Ever Need
Picking the right surfboard fin can be confusing. Most surfers don’t have the slightest clue what to choose when it comes to fin designs. (I’ll admit I don’t.) I’ve been surfing for over a decade and it’s never been something I truly tried to learn about. I even worked for Future Fins and it was still too boring for me to get excited about. Like you, I’m like “which one’s hot”?, and I’m buying that. Plus with all the different surfboard fin companies out these days, it just adds to the confusion. Everybody claims they make the perfect fin for this or that, but it seems ideally what you’re looking for is one fin for all conditions. (The all around fin for 2 foot close out beach breaks to 6 foot barrels somewhere off in Fiji.) Well, The Hobgood Twins & FCS have teamed up and worked on this idea for the last two years & recently released such a fin…

I’m not going to waste your time with detail breakdowns of design, because if you’re anything like me, you wouldn’t understand it anyway and just need to be pushed in the right direction. I’m willing to take CJ Hobgood’s word that this is a dope fin and will work magic anywhere I go. They spent the last two years testing it, and that’s good enough for me!
