The surfing world breathes a little easier today.

I’ve been shredding it up on Costco board for 6 mos. The only reason I haven’t bought a real one is because I haven’t had a job. HAHA. Sounds like somebody gave up and is really missing out. Off for the dawn patrol
Nice! These big box stores are commercializing everything, but never figured them for surf boards. Sure it is fine equipment, but a food store making surf boards. Riding a Costco board would be like buying a Billabong steak. Definitely not promoting the surfing attitude.

Riders do get a bit arrogant out there… i’m guilty. Reality is that I’ve been blessed w/ good work and able to snag the top shapes in the past years. The waves are for everyone. Yeah, cliche.. but we should just learn to be civil and gently direct a newby w/ their costco (or whatever they’re riding) over to where there’s less of a crowd and more safe. Some folks just dont have the $ to purchase something diff. Kudos to Rao
