Dear *beginner surfer*
We’re launching a new writer today - Jim, who hails from a *nice spot in Northern California*. Jimbo has an nice little quiver going. According to Jim: “I have way too many boards; I need another surfboard like I need the plague…or shingles. He’s the proud owner of a 5′10″ Stretch Quad, a 6′0″ Merrick K-Small, a 6′1″ Merrick MBM, a 6′4″ Sol Life round tail, a 6′6″ Chemistry semi-gun, and several other boards that I’ll refrain from
mentioning to preserve the exposure of my closet ’surfboard OCD.”
Indeed.
Jim will be writing on a number of subjects, including kookiness (he’s no kook, but funny as Sh!t), surfing fitness (as he’s tantalizingly close to being a physical therapy doctor.) and surfboards. Anyway - Jim’s first post - “Dear *beginner surfer*” follows.
