Because if you're travelling from LA to the Outer Banks, they are guaranteed to ding your board, then lose it, "What the hell is in here?", deliver it to their big hub at the Atlanta aiport, ding it again, and then call you when you're back in LA asking why you haven't picked up your board. And now, Delta will charge you $300 for the privilege.

Dream Tour
A nickname for the ASP World Tour. This name came about when the World Tour became more focused on only holding events in top surfing destinations during their best seasons, with large windows of time as waiting periods to virtually assure excellent quality waves throughout the contest. The top 45 get to surf the best places at the best times, virtually alone, while getting paid to do so.
